Meet the Team

Ankita Rawat

Ankita is a sexuality education trainer and leader in adolescent SRH and rights, honored as a 120 under 40 Family Planning Leader in 2016. She was awarded as Youth Champions Initiative fellowship with the Public Health Institute’s RiseUp program and ran a project with youth leaders on SRHR with a focus on their access to Youth Friendly SRH services by using digital storytelling tool. She has also worked on the issue of Early and Forced Marriage in Delhi-NCR and at YLabs she has worked on Men Stand Up to transform young men’s perspectives on sexuality, relationships, and family planning in India. At Beyond Eye, she works with team to lead strategy development, partnerships and resource mobilisation and management. She co run projects at ground level.

Diti Mistry

Diti is an Illustrator and a designer. She has worked on various advertising projects as an illustrator with Ogilvy, Humour Me, Interactive Avenues. She was part of SRHR project with Feminist Approach to Technology as a Graphic Designer and assisted participants in Storyboarding and Film-making. She runs her own brand ‘DITI’ where she creates handmade accessories out of fabric and explores various sustainable material. She’s done her graduation from National Institute of Fashion and Technology, Mumbai in Fashion Communication and has attended Residency Programme of Illustration and Storyboarding from School of Visual Art, New York. At Beyond Eye, she’s articulating the organisation’s visual presence in many ways and forms.

Jitender Naryanan Bhardwaj

Jitender is a postgraduate in Political Science who has been exploring sexual and reproductive healthy rights since 2014. During his work with various organizations, such as The YP foundation, Hidden Pockets, Feminist Approach with Technology, ARROW etc. he has organized, designed and initiated training on various issues related to comprehensive sexuality education with over 400 people across age groups. Currently, he is working with All India Women’s Conference as a research officer on climate change and gender and sustainable development. He often writes about his queer experiences, sexuality, masculinity and his travel experiences. Additionally, he enjoys cooking for his friends and exploring new places. At Beyond Eye, he supports team in facilitating sessions on comprehensive sexuality education with young people as a facilitator.

Karil Soral

Karil is a research scholar, pursuing his M.Phil in History from Delhi University. Constantly learning and un-learning, his focus is on history of cultures, societies, bodies and languages. He’s done a bit of activism as well, working on the idea of life skills with children from an urban slum of Delhi. He’s multilingual and has done his Bachelor’s (hons.) and Master’s in History from Delhi University. At Beyond Eye, he is responsible for editing as well as writing project reports.

Mahendra Soni

Mahendra is a software engineer and owner of Take2 Technologies. He loves to write code. He comes with seven years of experience and a proven track record for developing and delivering pioneer large scale projects in the field of web apps, web designing & mobile applications. At Beyond Eye, he shows his magic on the organization’s website.

Priyanka

Priyanka is a CSR and Sustainability specialist who brings in more than eight years of experience in designing development programs for various national and international nonprofit and for-profit organizations. Priyanka’s passion for bringing a sustainable change remains her driving force. Over the years, she has been actively working with children, youth and women in the urban and rural India on issues related to education, livelihoods and empowerment. She is the recipient of Aryabhatta Award for Disruptive Change in 2017. She also chaired the panel for UNESCO on education for the urban poor. At Beyond Eye, she supports the team with strategy, design, project planning and research. When not at work, you can find Priyanka playing with her sketchbook and figuring out what to draw next!

Pragya Sethia

She is an advocate in India and specialises in Family laws, Internet laws, taxation law, Intellectual Property rights, International Commercial Arbitration and ADR, Mergers and acquisition. Considered a pioneer in the field of family law, she has fought cases for women dealing with issue of domestic violence. She holds a bachelor degree in Law from Jaipur National University and masters in International and commercial law from University College London. At Beyond Eye, she supports the team with legal matters and acts as a facilitator of legal awareness for youth and women.

Vaishali Soni

A lover of tea, solitude and a curator of all things artsy. Vaishali’s journey saw her starting out in journalism to moving on to illustration and designing. She has worked with the Times of India, Gaysi, Katha, Amity and Point of View. She contributes as an illustrator at Beyond Eye, and has created comics for adolescent around Comprehensive Sex Education. She also designs a range of trendy merchandises in her brand ‘Khaas’.

Nisha Kumari

Nisha Kumari has worked with organizations like FAT on the issue of Gender, Patriarchy ,Sexuality, SRHR. She has also worked on the project which used digital story telling as a tool and ran a campaign on a) Against Early and Forced Marriage and b) Access to Youth Friendly SRHR. At Beyond Eye, she works as a field co-ordinator and SRHR trainer. She provides age appropriate CSE to adolescents in Uttarakhand, Rajasthan and Delhi.

Sunil Choudhary

A qualified Finance professional with more than 8 years of experience in handling finance, and administration of international and national non-profits organization with a strong knowledge of FCRA and FEMA Acts. Apart from a handful of experience, he holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and a Certificate in Financial Management from the National Institute of Finance and Accounts. At Beyond Eye, Sunil is playing a vital role in financial management and providing us with pro-bono services.
